Referred by a trusted connection, the client was looking to build a family home that maximised the hillside views and incorporated recycled and sustainable materials. The project needed careful planning and collaboration to bring this vision to life while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.

The team navigated early complications with the foundation, as the unexpected rock beneath the site required a specialist subcontractor to ensure stability.

Working closely with the client, the team managed material selections gradually, ensuring every decision aligned with the project’s eco-friendly goals.


Expert installation of recycled rimu flooring

Sourcing recycled timber from three different houses required skilled carpentry to ensure seamless installation, carefully routing and fitting each board in the entrance, kitchen, lounge, and bathroom areas.

The final home delivered everything the client envisioned: a spacious, four-bedroom layout with a large bathroom and master ensuite, all set on a beautiful site with serene views. The recycled rimu flooring, once finished, brought a unique warmth and homeliness to the build, and the close communication between client and builder helped ensure the final result was both functional and beautiful.
